Good: Technically, I like the shot a lot. The lighting is well placed, the focus is crisp and sharp and the grey background makes the picture look professional.
Needs improvement: The pose. I'm not a perfect photographer (by any stretch of the imagination) and often get stuck in similar poses...there's just something...vanilla about it. I don't know...maybe I'm reaching, here. It might look good if she was looking into the camera, or slightly more off to the side.
Anyways, great all around photo. Looking forward to seeing more
Brilliant work! What does this picture make me think?
She is one with wisdom and faith, yet sadness remains within her heart. She smiles for whatís to come and smiles for times in the past. She is in love, but cannot embrace her love completely yet. She is very close to someone, yet for a certain reasons has been drawn away from the one she loves.
She knows whatís to come, yet wishes it was sooner. With a warm and strong heart, knowing that that someone will always be there for her she continues on. Because she has to - for them.
She looks to the sky, for she knows she shares that sky and is never truly alone. Forever will that love be filling her heart, and one day it'll be truly expressed... one day.
I guess sometimes it's all to often that time comes between two people. But it's never forever.
Thatís how I feel when I look at this picture! I may just be waffling, but it seems to me, as she is 'thinking of you' she is looking into the distance, to the sky. A dream that will come true in time. It's a superb photograph, very nicely done. Very nice use of shadows giving two different moods to the photograph. There is the bright side, and the dark side so to speak. It quite amazingly changes the mood depending on how you look at it. She can be smiling, or frowning, hoping or giving up.
I think there is a question buried in this photograph for many people. It's more of a rhetorical question though - because it should only have one answer.
I know I would wait forever.
Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing this with us.
